Shooting weddings is the definition of “run and gun”. I shot them with a small production company, Parallel 40 Productions, and typically it would be myself and one other person running around, making up shots on the spot, all while trying to be inconspicuous enough to get true moments of people who might otherwise be camera shy.
I’m including weddings here because of that. Shooting weddings is an incredible lesson in improvisation and creative problem solving, which I believe to be the core skills of any creative. Please, take a look.
